Privacy Policy

Account data (email, name, avatar if you sign in with Google), order data (the file you upload, its dimensions, material and colour choices, price, status and shipping details), and maker data (shop name, location, printers, pricing, and verification details you submit).

We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe; we only keep the payment status and amount for each order.

To produce quotes, route your job to a suitable maker, take payment, pay makers, show you order progress, and resolve disputes. We also use it to detect abuse and meet accounting obligations.

Your uploaded model is visible only to you and the maker assigned to your order, through short-lived download links. Makers may not reuse or redistribute your model.

STL files are automatically deleted 30 days after an order is delivered or cancelled. Order records (reference, price, status) are kept longer for accounting and dispute history.

Stripe (payments and maker payouts), our cloud backend provider (database, authentication and file storage), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

We use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and personal data deleted. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Email privacy@layerlink-3d.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Orders with an open dispute or unpaid balance are deleted once they close; invoices required by law are retained in anonymised form.
